About the Band
We play music that gets your party up and on the dance floor!
The Jokers are based in the South Bay/Harbor Area. We love to play dance music, from Motown to other great classics, to country western hits, to more modern party rock n roll. We mix it up so there is something for everyone to enjoy. And we will consult with you to include party music YOU want to hear.

Since 2019, although band members have been friends since their high school days in the 1960s. Most graduated from Redondo Union High School.

The band loves the flexibility of using different members for different gigs. A couple of the members excel at 60s music, others take modern rock dance music to the forefront. It all depends on what the event calls for. The one constant is Joey Bensoua the drummer. He created the band.

Playing in a rock n roll band is not always about how much money you can make, although getting paid for a gig is no doubt important. We like to be able to negotiate with whoever is hiring us, based on type of music, the logistics involved, travel time, and how long we are asked to play. 4 hour gigs are not out of the question.

It doesn’t matter the year or decade a song was launched. What matters is can you party to it. We like to get people up to dance and really enjoy themselves. That is what we excel at. Not every song is a dance song … but it’s pretty darn close!
